French, a desk clock with 3 porcelain panels (one with dial), bearing marine / sail boat themes, and with a bell strike movement bearing the Japy Freres logo and with pendulum regulation through the dial above 12, c1890 the 3 panels are all excellent, the dial with a lighthouse bottom left and sail boats in the center, right panel with a house boat with sail and the left with a larger craft. The movement appears complete and sound; hands are original. Best part is the original bright yellow gilding to the case; very stunning. Ht 12"
