New Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Conn., "Regulator No. 2" wall clock 8 day time only weight driven movement with pinwheel escapement in oak case with porcelain dial and sweep seconds, c1881 the case has its original finish that is nicely rubbed down with small flake to the upper left molding on crest and a glue repair on the right return molding, two vertical 1/4" wide spacers inserted in crest adjacent to fleur-de-lis carvings, picket style molding on base has some wear and minor repairs to bottom trim. The original enamel dial has no hairlines. The original movement is now supported by two later L-brackets. Carved face on crest has been very nicely restored. This model does not turn up often. Ht 88"
