the case has a very old refinish and is signed with maker's signature and "NO 42". The fine fret work on hood is original with a glue repair. There is a split in the base with some restorations. The movement has typical NH style cutout. The dial has some oxidation on arch with rocking ship but is in otherwise excellent condition with fabulous Spencer and Nolan label still legible and mostly intact on backside. The weights, hands and pulleys are original. E. S. Moulton was later listed as clockmaker in Saco, Maine. Ht 90"
