the old finish is in very nice condition, as is the applied nautical scene on the throat. The lower glass is replaced and is now clear with gold border, but good for seeing the fancy pendulum swinging. The silvered metal dial, with raised gold numbers, has been polished to brass in the center. There is only a label fragment on the back. Solid brass side arms, bezel, and eagle finial have old patina. The movement ticks and strikes on 2 rods. Ht 31"
