there is an old finish, and a few small age cracks, on the veneered case with just a fragment of a rear paper label. The original paper dial is stained, the glass is wavy. The balance wheel movement ticks and strikes but should be cleaned. There is an 1897 repair note on the back as well. 11 1/2" square
