this clock is a marriage. The movement is a Chauncey Jerome and probably dates c1850. The dial is repainted and may well be new. The case could be c1840-1860, but likely had an English movement originally, judging by the springs. Burled walnut veneer with applied carvings case with some minor damage on the top right side edge. Dial has been professionally restored. Ht 17.5"
