New Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Conn., "Vamoose" wall clock, 30 day, time only, double spring driven movement in grain painted oak case with painted metal dial, c1911 the case retains its original finish with a replaced top (does not match the photograph in Tran Du Ly's "New Haven Clocks and Watches". The dial is orignal and in great condition. The movement, which is stamped New Haven, has been recently professionally serviced. Ht 40" If you look at Ly's book again p. 523, you will see that what remains is the original base piece of the top. However, missing the two applied slanted moldings and the applied center decoration. Should not be too difficult to restore.
