complete and in excellent original condition with pull string alarm. There are no hairlines in the white enamel dial. The base is stamped "Ms. Honorables, Exp. Paris, Londres", and the back plate with the initial "P". Details on this clock can be found in Derek Robert's book "Continental and American Skeleton Clocks", pages 102-3, wherein his research shows that although these were introduced at the Great Exhibition of 1851, and are commonly identified by that reference, they were actually produced from 1850 through the 1890s.
