Mahogany case in as found condition in original finish. Gilding on the doors is pretty much intact with just a little missing on one block on the throat. There is more extensive gilding loss on the bottom bracket. Original porcelain dial is perfect. Hands and the finial are original. The painting on the throat glass has some lifting and loss on the edges. The bottom glass painting is showing signs of lifting, but has not yet started to flake off. These glasses were supplied to Waterbury by W. W. Sprague and Co. of Boston. Ht 42.5"
