Mahogany and Ash veneered case in an old and possibly original finish. There has been some veneer repair on the base, at the lock and at the top hinge. Original dial has been restored with the signature strengthened. Hands are of the proper type, but are later replacements. Fusee powered seatboard movement is signed. Tablet is original. Nice clean label inside case. Brass door escutcheon is missing. A rare model. Ht 22.75".
