N3460 1941" and has blacked steel hands, s#2E3460. The lot includes the original gimbaled inner dark red mahogany stained box with full brass banding, corners, handles and central tongue in groove seal with Hamilton tag, original key and setting instructions good running order (winds, sets and ticks), the movement is in very good condition with a few fine scratches and pin pricks. The dial is in very good condition with a little deterioration at contact point with bezel. A remarkable WWII US Naval chronometer in overall very good condition Ht 8"
