Tiffany and Co., New York bracket clock, 8 day, time, strike and Westminster chime, spring driven movement in an ebonized oak case with gilded cast door frame and beveled glass. The brass dial is marked "TIFFANY and CO. MAKERS" and has a silvered chapter ring and applied brass spandrels and cherubs, c1890 the case retains its original finish. The dial has been professionally restored. The double mainspring movement (no fusees) plays the full Westminster chime sequence on the quarter hours, with full melody on the hour and also strikes the hours on a large cathedral gong. The movement is of high quality and was manufactured by Tiffany and Company. Ht 19 1/2"
