Seth Thomas Clock Co., Plymouth Hollow, Conn., "Regulator No. 1 Extra" wall clock 8 day time and strike weight driven movement in rosewood veneered mahogany case with reverse painted tablet and painted metal dial, c1875 the case retains its original finish nicely rubbed in excellent condition with outstanding matching veneers. There is some minor touch-up to original dial and repaint in second's bit. The label is in very good condition. The lower glass tablet is repainted on old glass. We sold a similar example in similar condition in our auction of May 15th, 2011, lot #756 for $3500. Ht 44"
