the clock is in outstanding original condition with excellent patination to bronze. The marble has some very minor flaking to top rear. The mainspring is fully wound. Edward F. Caldwell and Co. was founded in 1895 and renowned for it's high quality metalwork. The company specialized in manufacturing lighting fixtures, clocks and desk accessories. The firm was dissolved in the early 1930's. The clock is EXTREMELY heavy and fragile (over 100lbs / 45kg) and must be hand delivered if bought by absentee bidding. Ht 23"

E.F. Caldwell, New York mantel clock with E. The cut brass chapter ring has nickel plated Roman numerals and hands, c1915 the clock is in outstanding original condition with excellent patination to bronze.
