TO with individual porcelain Roman Numerals on a hand chased gilt metal dial. The very intricate designs include human heads, acanthus leaves, tassels and scroll work. Inside the clock's floor there are brass squares spaced on it - giving the floor a Tunbridge look. The inside of the back door is, brass lined with delicate cut outs, leaving a nice pattern. The movement is devoid of any marks. The pillars connecting the front and back plates are of an early style. The cut out metal designs on the case are mostly intact. There is a bronze figure on the top of the case and on the door. The spring winds OK. (There is no pendulum. The tortoise shell on the case is mostly gone. The gilt finish on the bronze figure on the top and the door is worn.) This clock needs some love and attention to restore it to its' former glory. 27 1/2" Tall x 13" Wide
