The Silk String ball striking movement is unmarked and has a silvered dial. A woman with long curls in her hair holds a feather pen and paper. There are other pages and an inkwell by her elbow. A band of fruit and acanthus leaves are across the lower front of the case. Both springs wind properly. (The clock runs for a bit then quits. The bell shattered and a replacement has not been found.) Dial - 3 1/2" Diameter; Case - 19 3/4" Tall x 17 1/8" Wide
