This is a London made double fusee clock in a Japanned case, circa the last half of the 18th century. The strike is on a large, steel cup bell. The metal dial is has applied floral and leaf designs around it. The old iron key with the clock winds the clock just fine and the clock is running at this time. The strike, when wound, goes until it is unwound. (The case is dry and rough.) The case is 21" Long. The dial is 8" Diameter.
