The rare and intriguing case, with its double elephants and jester head, retains an old patina. The bright white porcelain dial has a few small chips at the winding hole, the thick beveled glass has one near 11. The one-spring movement ticks, but the strike train is dormant, and the case is missing its wood bottom and coiled gong. Ly price guide says $800. Ht 10 1/2"
