There is a nice old and crazed finish on the mahogany, and the original gold plating is mostly intact except some darkening of the protective lacquer on top. There is one tiny chip near 4 on the porcelain dial, and we see most of the bottom label. The beveled glasses all are good, as is the simulated mercury pendulum. The large movement, with its jeweled exposed escapement, ticks and strikes but may need service. Ht 12"
