There is a nice gloss finish on this well-made detailed case with matched-grain backboard, but the crest and base are absent. The white porcelain dial and beat scale are about perfect, and there is a shiny old patina on the brass bezel, weight shells and pendulum bob. The movement, with its two stamps showing the maker and the gold medal award, looks clean with new cords but may need minor service. Pulleys may be replacements. Despite the missing top and bottom, an impressive hanging clock. Ht 37"
