The gilding and brass has an nice old patina on the two candle stands the clock figure and drum appear to have gold paint and need to be better secured to the base. The alabaster pieces have only very small flaws. The silvered dial, with its engine-turned center is very good, the thick beveled glass is fine, and the cast moth pendulum is a bonus. The movement, 1855 Vincenti Medaille D'Argent, needs cleaning and a suspension spring. Ht of clock 14", candle stands 17"
