24 October 2024
From the short partnership of Eli Terry and his son Henry, this example is in nice refinished condition with intact scrolls and feet. The wood dial is freshly repainted, the top glass is new, and the bottom tablet is surrounded by old putty and was likely restored in place, has incorrect border. The three brass finials are light and old, and the original paper label is toned but complete. The movement is Not a Terry type and needs service. Ht 31"
