The black finish is original and in good condition with just small blemishes. There is a good bottom label, and a touching front presentation plate "In Memory of an Only and Dearly Loved Daughter 1881". The brass pendulum bob retains its light engraved pattern. The restored painted metal dial carries the English establishment name R. Salisbury and Sons, Guildford". The large movement will need thorough service. Ht 36 1/2"
