There is good MOP, faded paint, and complete wood backboard on this rare clock, The glass is old and bubbly, and the painted metal dial has small losses, especially near the hinge which probably was resoldered. The movement, stamped with the 1852 patent date, ticks with its dumbbell pendulum, but could use cleaning. See page 194 of Ly's American Clocks Vol.3 for this story. Ht 10 1/2"
