Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 2", 8 day wall time piece, c1874. Refinished mahogany veneer case in good condition. One small area of veneer on the door is raised and has a hairline crack. Bottom bracket is cracked on the right side and was most likely veneered originally. There has been a repair to the backboard. A piece of molding on the bottom right side of the case is the wrong type. Grain painting on the area behind the dial has been sanded off on the edges. Original painted dial has yellowed a little with very tiny chips in a couple of places and some loss at the mounting screws. Hands, pendulum and weight are original. Nice label inside case. Ht 34"
