The old gilt patina is very nice but nearly overwhelmed by all the sparkling rhinestones around the door, dial and pendulum. The top has fancy engraved initials. Except for two small chips in the bottom corners of the back door, the rest of the beveled glasses all are fine. The porcelain dial, with its multicolor floral garlands, has one small chip by the 11. The Marti 1889 Medaille d'Argent movement ticks and strikes but may need service. Ht 11 1/2"
