Eli Terry, Plymouth, Conn., 30 hour wood movement pillar and scroll shelf clock, c1825 Stripped mahogany veneered case with some veneer repairs the cross strip on the door. The door also has age cracks in the veneer and some minor repair. The scrolls are original with the tips having been poorly restored. The back feet on each side of the case have been replaced. The rest of the feet and skirt are original. Original painted dial is very clean with some minor professional restoration. Hands and pendulum are original. Bottom glass looks to be original, but the tablet is a repaint. Finials are not original. Tin cover on the back of the case is missing. Ht 29"
