Iron case is in nice condition with most of the original paint intact; hat probably re-blacked. Bezel and movement are original. Paint in the eyes may have been restored. Hour hand is original, while the minute hand is a replacement. The following is cast into the base: "T. Kennedy Patent Applied for 1856". The balance-wheel movement, made by Waterbury, ticks and moves the eyes. Paper dial a modern replacement.. Ht 17"
