Waltham Clock Co., "Banjo or Patent" wall time piece, 8 day, weight driven movement retailed by Smith Patterson Co, c1920 Mahogany case in nice condition in original finish. Original painted dial with some minor loss at the mounting screws. Both painted tablets are original. Original eagle finial, pendulum and hands. The small cog gear on the winding arbor that meshes with wheel on the front plate to complete the Geneva stop is missing. Nice gilt bracket with minor loss. It is unusual to find a gilt bracket on a plain style case, but maybe someone wanted to enhance the case and added this bracket. Ht 42"
