Brown, Bristol, Conn., "Ripple Steeple" mantel clock, 8 day, time, strike and alarm, spring driven movement in a rosewood veneer case with ripple molding, silk screened lower tablet and painted metal dial, c1850 the case retains its original finish, nicely rubbed down. There is minor veneer loss to left finial block and a minor break to the top of left finial. The dial has a few minor flakes and the tablet is in very good condition. Ht 20"
