There is good MOP, faded paint, and complete wood movement box on this even rarer striking model. The glass needs to be resecured, and the bezel hinge has been resoldered. The painted metal dial was repainted by the Smallwoods in 1973 according to a sticker on its back. The movement, stamped with the 1852 patent date, ticks with its dumbbell pendulum, but needs cleaning and tightening in the case. See page 194 of Ly's American Clocks Vol.3 for this story. Ht 13"
