American Waltham Watch Co, Waltham, Mass., eight day time only car clock with up/ down indicator in a purpose made mahogany case, top of case finished with a black plate, possibly Bakelite mounted with brass plates embossed "A. J. Kraut" and "Correct Time", inside if case back stamped 173, brass carrying handle mounted to case side above 12, matte silvered Arabic numeral dial with seconds, signed Waltham, brass bezel with beveled glass, blued steel hands, c1920 Movement running, dial and hands very good, case and embossed plates also very good, case probably refinished, the movement appears to have been specially made for casing in this manner based on the long right angle stem which connects the winding and setting functions with the back mounted winding key, Ht 2 3/8", W 8", L 8".
