the case retains a nice old finish with minor losses and lifting. Both glasses are old, as is the painted metal dial which has some fading and toning. The large signed movement, with ribbed plates, now has steel mainsprings in place of the original brass. The inside paper label is yellowed but complete. Someone has cut a small opening in the backboard, perhaps to allow strike adjustments without removing the works. Ht 19"
