Ingraham, Ansonia, Conn., (Late Brewster and Ingrahams), 8 day, time and strike steeple or sharp gothic mantel clock, c1856 Refinished mahogany veneered case in nice condition with a repair on the upper left front molding. Original painted dial is very clean with some inpainting at the mounting pins. One of the finials is different from the other and maybe original, but it is strange to have two different sizes. Hands are not original, too long. This firm only in business one year at Ansonia.. Tablet old, ok. Clean label inside case. Ht 20"
