the gold front has a movement, probably Killborn and Proctor, marked "Elgin Craft". The paper dial is newer, the hands are too short, the weight is incorrect, and the colorful naval tablets are flaking, but the clock could restore nicely. The B and I has a replaced painted metal dial with a filled in winding hole, and another drilled for these works. Note The Brewster and Ingrahams was the 1st spring-driven banjo clock. They altered gallery clock cases and added the lower section and used a pendulum movement. It is a scarce clock, in spite of dial. It appears to have the correct glasses Ht 34" and 31"
