the veined stone has just a few small edge chips, the lacquered brass pieces have darkened to a soft patina, and the curved beveled glasses are fine except for a small chip in the top of the front door. The brass dial has tarnished and the numbers have partially worn away, but the carriage-trade jeweler's name remains clear. The mercury pendulum is fine, swinging below the stamped 1889 S. Marti movement. Ht 10.25"
