the heavy stone case retains its glossy black finish, and has two small corner chips up top and one tiny one on the lower front. The thick beveled glass is fine. The porcelain dial, made to look like the segmented ones on much earlier French clocks, has a small hairline and only part of the dealer name remaining. The movement is unsigned but has the A.1 stamp. Ht 12"
