there is wear to the gilding on the cast metal trimmings. Marble columns, base and top urn are all fine. Movement is sound and complete. Overall very good original condition. Note optional brass "Northwind" pendulum, see illustration in Gilbert supplement, page 60. For additional reference, see Tran Ly's book titled "GILBERT CLOCKS" (1998), page 264, fig 891.
