Welch, Spring and Co., Forestville, Conn., conversion, 8 day, time only, two weight driven movement in a rosewood case with reverse painted lower tablet, c1880 this is a conversion from a Welch calendar clock. The case retains its original finish nicely rubbed down with two professional veneer repairs on bezel and repainted trim around lower tablet. The dial has been repainted. There is some touch up to lower tablet. The wafer weights are original. The suspension spring needs to be replaced. Ht 34 1/2"
