Clocks- 4 (Four) George Hills, Plainville, Conn., reverse ogee mirror rosewood veneer clock cases, two with movements, one dial, c1847 this is a parts lot, but at least one complete clock could be made, and more if other pieces are found or fabricated. The best case contains a Kirk's patent movement with a double escape wheel iron back plate and a very unusual strike system that runs off the time spring, accompanied by a signed painted metal dial. Another case includes a time-only marine movement and partial Hils label. Ht of largest is 38", others are 36"
