the case was refinished some time ago, and there is a small area of veneer loss under the bezel. Part of the original label remains in the base. The movement is signed and correct; the painted metal dial may be later or a repaint. There is an old patina on the brass beat scale, bob and weight. This style of case with the two drops at the bottom was last offered in 1912, but the label printing suggests to us 20 years earlier. Ht 36.5"
