Cast iron case with gold decoration and MOP in very nice condition visible under an original finish. Original painted dial with some loss at the mounting screws, at the winding arbor and small flecks at about three o'clock. Hands are original. Movement is stamped: "Patented Oct 5th 1852" and looks to have been serviced recently. The bezel glass has a small crack. Ht 11"
