Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 2", 8 day, weight driven mahogany regulator wall clock, dated 1885 there is a glossy dark finish over the original, and the case is in very good overall condition. There are remnants of a bottom label, the inked code on the back indicates an April 1885 manufacturing date, and the painted metal dial has only small losses around the holes. The movement, with maintaining power, is correct but unsigned. The beat scale is good; the brass pendulum bob and weight (which may not be original) have aged patinas. Ht 37"
