this was the original slant-bottom Terry design which led to the Seth Thomas No. 1 and No. 2 models, and this example with old finish retains many original components, The metal dial and bottom glass are repainted, the top glass is absent, the hands are new. Part of the weight baffle remains, with dark Terry... lettering, and the paper beat scale at the bottom is faded. The unsigned movement has maintaining power; the weight looks old. Ht 34"
