France, eight day hour repeating time, probably strike and alarm carriage clock, Anglaise Riche case with very nice champleve enamel panels, the foliate design in bright blues, greens, and reds, beveled glass in back door and top, matte gilt Roman numeral dial, blued steel hands, movement with silvered lever platform, c1880 Movement is running but would benefit from cleaning, low balance amplitude, alarm functioning, repeats the hours on demand, but does not strike the hour or half hour in passing. Case with an old polished surface, rear glass with a few tiny flakes, upper glass excellent, and enamel panels and dial mask excellent. Repeat button may have had a larger top. A very decorative clock. Ht 8 1/4" to top of handle
