the old finish shows some rubbed wear, and only a fragment of the rear label. The convex glass is good, but the silvered dial was painted over. Note unusual hads are original. This model is often abused by collectors who assume that there is oak underneat the paint, however, they are softwood and came in a variety of colors. See Ly's New Haven book page 158, fig 592.
