we attribute the maker to the "B&W" trademark stamp on the German movement. The unusual solid wood case is well made and in good condition, with "C" carved into the crest. The brass dial has some polish residue in the engraved numbers and corners. The shaped front glass is heavy and beveled, but its door is hinged strangely and needs caution when opening. Nice beat scale below the open well where the brass pendulum bob swings. Ht 29"
