case is in very nice condition with original finish showing minor scratches. Silvered brass dial is very clean with a small ding at about 2 o'clock. Hands are original. There is an engraved plaque on the base front which reads: "To Mr. C. Sheppard from Col. P. Burges as a token of grateful appreciation of 40 years service March 1929". Ht 14.75"
