It was later used by P.T. Barnum, c1846 Refinished mahogany case in nice condition with a small chip on the lower right corner. Original painted dial with a just a little wear. Hands are original. Original tablet with some loss. Unusual lyre form movement patented by Thomas Davies for a unique striking system. Ht 25.75"
