Ansonia Clock Co., Brooklyn, New York, "Sydney" shelf clock, 8 days time and strike, spring driven movement in an ash case, c1886 the surface has an old patina, and the black "trimmings" have some paint losses that have been inked in. The patterned glass, double-barrel pendulum, large beat scale, and worn paper dial all appear original, but the rear partial label is totally dark. Ht
